PMU stays another year with MPCC

Despite the end of its contract with the Tour de France, the company PMU, which remains title sponsor of the French Cup, has confirmed its commitment to MPCC for 2015. The company PMU remains a member of MPCC in 2015.

And what about the riders? The teams are not the only ones to make commitments to MPCC. IAM cycling manager Serge Beucherie expresses his point of view about riders' responsibility and ensures MPCC rules are not too restrictive for them.

Why does sponsors have to join MPCC ?

Final 2014 doping figures

MPCC unveils the final figures identifying the cases revealed in 2014, to better situate cycling compared to other disciplines. With sixteen cases this year, cycling is behind athletics, baseball and weightlifting.

Following the decision of the UCI license commission about the World Tour 2015 team registration procedures, MPCC reviews the application of its rules.

The Turkish team Torku-Sekerspor, part of the Continental division, has asked to join MPCC, on the initiative of its new manager, French Lionel Marie. The membership was accepted by the board, but on probation.

Team Roompot new member of MPCC

The new Dutch team Roompot has applied to join MPCC. The board has accepted the request of the manager Michael Zijlaard.
