Movement for a Credible Cycling

QUICK ACCESS:

MPCC Overview

Our association’s purpose:

fighting for the credibility of cycling

The Movement for a Credible Cycling (MPCC) is an association aiming at defending clean cycling. Transparency, responsibility and our members’ engagement are the pillars of our identity. MPCC is also a whistleblower on corticosteroids, tramadol, stilnox and mechanical doping.

Our movement has been part of

the peloton for the last 13 years

MPCC started on 24th July 2007 by 7 professional teams: AG2R Prévoyance, Agritubel, Bouygues Telecom, Cofidis, Crédit Agricole, Française des Jeux et Gerolsteiner. The official creation of the association occurs on 28th September 2007. The objective of the MPCC at the very beginning was to protest against the non-application of a decision regarding the ethical chart of the AIGCP (International Association of Professional Cycling Groups), whereas this decision was unanimously approved. The association’s president, Roger Legeay, has been here since its creation. Back then, Roger was the manager of team Crédit Agricole. Since 2007, teams can join MPCC. Since 2018, riders, staff members and organizers can become members of the movement as well.

Our strength: everything is based

on a voluntary basis

Our movement does not force anybody to join and wants its members to commit on a voluntary basis. Any member commits to a number of fundamental rules of the MPCC and is free to leave the association at any time. The Board reserves the right to expel a member should he not respect its rules.

To sum it up:

MPCC is a philosophy
